“Single Barrel is matured in the highest reaches of our barrelhouse, where the dramatic changes in temperature cause its color and taste to deepen further. We still hand select each barrel for its robust taste and notes of toasted oak, vanilla and caramel. Every barrel absorbs its own personality and character from its charred oak barrel. Character and dark amber color comes, in part, from aging the whiskey barrels in the upper floors of the warehouses where the spirit enjoys a more intense maturation.”
